Big purses: fashionable, functional, and potentially life saving.

I am one of those women who a) cannot go anywhere without her purse, b) has to have everything she could ever need in that purse (including a book, naturally), and c) therefore needs a rather large-ish (and beautiful) purse in which to keep said necessities.
Honestly, I have tried to carry around one of those teeny-weeny little purses and I just find them infuriating. Not only can I never get everything I need in it, but when trying to find, and or extract an item from the teeny-weeny little thing I, invariably, end up unpacking the whole stinking purse!
Because I am so attached to my fashionable, functional, large-ish, beautiful purses my sister, whom I love to teensy-weensy bits, mocks me constantly. Well, today she was the one who told me about an article she read about a woman whose large, necessity filled purse literally SAVED HER LIFE!
So...what have we learned? Well first off, ones handbag preforms a very serious service. If properly chosen, and stuffed, a handbag can make a fashion statement, carry all your stuff from point A to point B, C, D, E...etc., and possibly one day even save your life. Take that big purse haters!
I hope you have all enjoyed the art. Just a few of my favorites: Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Chloe, Burberry, and the pies de resistance...Versace!

Purses are alright... but nowhere near as cool as electronic paper.

Any excuse you can find, eh Allyson? Lot's of car jackers in Happy Valley?

I will admit- I do love purses. I just hate having to carry one- especially those huge 'mom bags' that you carry. Less is more. The less I can carry the the better.

I'm with you Allyson. I love coming up with something random that somone NEEDS out of th depths of my magic bag! AND, I loved the 'artwork'. . . especially the green one. Scrumptious.

The green one is my favorite too! Obviously great minds think alike ;)

I bought a cute new purse this fall. It's kind of a mustard color and it has scales. Like a fish, but big. PB&J looked at it and his only comment was "wow. you must feel really confident to carry a bag like that." But I don't care. I like it and that's all that matters.

That sounds adorable! You can tell PB&J that Stacey and Clinton say that bold accessories make an outfit pop!

Thanks for the comeback.

Nordies has some high end purses on sale. I went and drooled on them. If you end up buying one with my slobber on in it, sorry!
