At this point the four of us were faced with the age old quandary - do we go back outside...into the cold...to the wait, or do we stay inside...in the warm building and hide out in the bathroom for a half an hour until everyone else comes in. Ya, we chose warmth. Well as soon as we heard the din of voices in coming from the entrance at 4:30pm we exited the ladies room and made a mad dash for the closest seats we could get. We ended up in the third row of the stadium seats.
This is a pretty small picture but this was our view - we were less than 100 ft. away from the podium.

Me and Elyse - so tender! We had time to kill since we were an hour and a half early.
The fireside was really great, and our adventure to get into it was just a bonus. All in all a pretty great Sunday that we topped off with pancakes, yummy!

way to be righteous!
I can't believe you hid in the bathroom! Soo funny! For the future, I recommend carrying a clipboard with you (in your very fashionable bag, of course)to all events. No one questions the girl with a clipboard and an "I'm busy, (important), and in a hurry" look on her face. :)
Hahaha Allyson! You are so funny! I was there too. But I showed up at 5:20 and had nosebleeds. But I didn't mind at all. I've been there before sitting on the floor, so I decided to give you a chance at good seats. Although, I could have sat on the floor again with the deaf people. My roommate was there with my deaf friend and I could have snuck down there. =D But I sat with my sister in the nosebleeds and enjoyed just listening to the prophet live and being in the same room. It was amazing, wasn't it?
Just another reason why you need to be wearing your right purse right!!! Ha HA!! I love Wendy's advice and will definitely take it into consideration when going to the next fireside 2 hours early. :)
Hey Allyson! Great to hear from you! I am doing really great. Are you and Lisa still at Prosper? How the heck is that place anyway? I have a good family friend, Ryan Miller, that just got hired as a salesman there...I think on Jason's team? So make sure you are nice to him and tell him all the things he needs to do to make compliance like him (you know, don't hover, don't come in the office, don't pitch crazy expensive packages to mentally unstable people etc etc) I hope you are doing fabulous my dear!
